In his latest photo series, Turkish self-taught photographer Apo Genç shots Hamburg nights: his photos show an industrial environment, deserted streets and lonely people, spiced up with a nostalgic sci-fi ambiance.
He took the photos last November, depicting a historic portrait of urban changes during the pandemic.

Genç had previously studied Modern German Literature, Psychology and Sociology at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel. He’s been professionally engaged in photography and video production since 2013, and took the Hamburg Noir photo series with a Sony A7III camera and Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art lens.
