After long decades, Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Western and Central Europe, also known as the Hungarian sea, receives some new, worthy ships, finally. The Hungarian Tourism Agency announced the good news in a press release, stating that the prototype plans of BAHART’s new fleet have arrived and the technical documentation has been completed, so we can already see what the new ferry, the new catamaran and the new BAHART flagship will look like. The aim of the large-scale project lasting until 2030 is to replace the several-decade-long ships on Lake Balaton with a modern fleet. Can’t wait to see it!
