NASA has postponed the takeoff of its Martian helicopter named Ingenuity to no earlier than April 14. It was originally scheduled for yesterday.
Due to problems detected during a test of the device’s rotors on Friday, the event was postponed for a few days. This would have been the first time for a man-made device to perform a guided flight on Mars. According to NASA’s announcement, the helicopter is otherwise intact, so after a review, they will reschedule the takeoff.
