Build a console out of LEGO!

Even though it doesn’t play any games, the Nintendo gaming console buildable out of LEGO bricks is still quite cool!

The news of an unopened, vintage Super Mario Bros. game being sold for 114 thousand USD, that is approx. 35.6 million HUF at an auction in the US just went viral a few days ago. Those not having this kind of money at hand shouldn’t lose heart either: on Monday, LEGO announced that they will soon release a NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) gaming console version built of LEGO bricks. The cherry on top is that the console comes with a TV, and of course it wouldn’t be complete without a brick-based cartridge. And will it be suitable for playing? Yes and no: no video games will actually run on the built screen, but we can bring the Super Mario figure to life manually, with the help of a crank.

So anyone can bring the 30-year-old video game to life, if they manage to use all 2626 LEGO bricks. We are looking forward to it very much!
