This is what LEGO blocks would look like if they were made of wood: Mokulock conjures up the concept of well-known plastic building blocks with their variants made of wood.
The toys created by the Japanese company Mokulock are similar to LEGOs with the difference that these blocks are made with more sustainable solutions than those of the Danish brand. Mokulock is working with wood that is already lumbered but its quality is not suitable for architectural and furniture-making purposes. They typically use Japanese Cherry, Japanese Zelkova, Japanese Bigleaf Magnolia, Birch, Hornbeam and Maple trees. These provide different textures and shades of wood for their building blocks.
