The AI-powered design lamp does not only read aloud, but can also help kids interpret what they hear.
Sometimes kids who cannot read yet would love to dive deep in their favorite books, but their parents don’t have time to read to them. It is also quite frequent that elementary school students have a hard time interpreting the materials on their own. These problems inspired South Korean technology company Naver Corp to design their smart lamp.
The lamp powered by artificial intelligence processes the books based on text and images, which is then read aloud and explained to the kids by the built-in virtual assistant.
The design of the lamp follows that of classic desk lamps, with the camera placed at the center of its LED light.
