Last year, in collaboration with the two time Red Dot Design award-winning Flying Objects design studio, the Tisza team brought back an almost 35-year-old design to life: this way, Tisza SPORT could become fresh and attractive once again, in line with today’s requirements. And now you can meet the new collection, with brand new colors.
They kept the main design elements of the original Tisza SPORT sneakers, and they also used the typography of the old sign. However, the designers looked for a flexible new sole for everyday use, and chose a structured, extremely soft leather for the maximum comfort of the upper.
At first, they opted for a more low-key white-blue combination resembling the original, but they already tried out many colors during the concept design process. Now they chose four versions out of the many – this way, Tisza SPORT got some cool, ’80s vibe colors for this season.
By the time the shoes were all finished, the Flying Objects team was already working from home office due to the situation caused by the coronavirus, so they decided to shoot the campaign photos at home.
“We didn’t even take them off for a whole day, we simply did our quarantine routine within our apartments in them. We like to look at our shoes, caress them and wear them at home in regular circumstances, too, sometimes we even put them next to our beds before we first wear them on the streets. Now we even have a little more time for this” – told us András Húnfalvi, one of the founders of Flying Objects.
