Staggered by the surprisingly common misconceptions about Bosnia, Ennis Cehic now living in Melbourne went back to his homeland and took Australian photographer Shantanu Starick with him, too. He did all this with the aim of showing the true marvels of his land and his people. The “New metonyms: Bosnia & Herzegovina” is an unconventional photobook, mixing poetry, short stories and a personal essay, about reconnecting a displaced identity.
