Everyday objects come to life as realistic, embroidered felt sculptures spiced with some pop-art aesthetics. The works of Poland-based Alicja Kozlowska examine the relations between consumer goods and art.
According to Alicja, the most creative artists might be those designing packaging for mass-produced products, yet the consumer society refuses to recognize these works. The sculptures, created with intricate embroidery and artquilt technique, were inspired by the work of Andy Warhol.
